Reflecting on the successful conclusion of the "Cross Exhibition." Thank you to everyone who visited and supported us. Under the theme "Two Years of Silence / Untouchable Distance," we brought our personal passion into the physical space without any compromise.

Two years have passed in silence since August 2022. At X PORTRAIT EXHIBITION 6, Yuichi Nakamura reconnects with model Mirai Asahina, presenting a quiet dialogue between memory and awakening. This exhibition explores the contrast between high-definition digital prints on crystal paper and a monochrome 4x5 gelatin silver print, capturing the subtle shifts in presence and atmosphere.

Through a dialogue with my muse—the true core and inspiration of my creative drive—it became clearer than ever why I love photography. I love photographing people. I don’t know what the "right answer" is. So I talk, I move them, and I chase that split-second expression. In two 20-minute sessions, I trip the shutter 2,200 times, only to select a mere 3 frames for final delivery. Yet in all the off-shots—the 2,197 frames that fell away—I want to capture the full spectrum of their raw humanity:
