My artistic practices are conducted strictly as an independent individual, rather than receiving corporate sponsorship, and I continue to devote myself to this discipline each day with utmost humility.
However, in the course of this pursuit, I have been fortunate to encounter numerous defining relationships, which have evolved into collaborative projects where we now support and drive creative infrastructures together. For these opportunities, I am profoundly grateful.
It is precisely for this reason that I must explicitly clarify our position.
The deployment of industrial resources and the execution of creative support within 【Kenko Tokina Co., Ltd.】 and 【Kenko Professional Imaging Co., Ltd. (KPI)】 are strictly governed by our independent, rigorous framework of "Aesthetic Curation."
We do not function merely as a passive logistical infrastructure for equipment supply. Any institutional support granted is determined under cold, objective scrutiny—evaluating the social relevance of the artist’s practice, their adherence to international fine-art disciplines, and above all, the presence of a concrete, unyielding will to elevate mutual photographic culture to a global standard.
The provision of capital and advanced technology is a "discursive investment" designed to allow distinct modes of expression to intersect with equal structural gravity. It is fundamentally not a resource to be consumed for self-indulgence or wasted on localized mutual-admiration societies.
For any artistic practice that fails to produce a rigorous statement capable of driving our infrastructure, no formal validation or corporate backing will be granted under any circumstances.
